who’s the scientist?

so, the education division of fermilab put together this little website of kids’ interpretations of scientists before and after they went to fermilab for a tour. some favorites:

I think of a scientist as very dedicated to his work. He is kind of crazy, talking always quickly. He constantly is getting new ideas. He is always asking questions and can be annoying. He listens to others’ ideas and questions them. – Amy

She lives in New York and stays in a big apartment home. She is married and has two children. . . . Every year she goes on a business trip around the world to get updated on what’s happening in science today. – Sandra

Scientist Judy is wearing her white lab coat. She is a very simple person … simple clothes, simple house, simple personality. – Angela

Scientists live in their own world and the rest of society puts them there. – Ashley
